At Cornerstone Orthopaedics, a division of Orthopedic Centers of Colorado (OCC), we are excited to begin a search for a Board Certified Total Joint (Hip and Knee) Orthopedic Surgeon interested in joining a long standing organization to start Winter 2022. Qualified candidates must be fellowship trained or in training in their area of expertise in Orthopedic surgery. We are excited to offer "Hospital-Free" total joint procedures to our patients where the benefits of both patient satisfaction and cost reduction are significant.
Our current partners are all fellowship-trained at many of the top institutions in the US, and range in age and scope of practice, covering adult reconstruction, complex sports medicine, shoulder and elbow, hand surgery, complex surgery of the hip and knee, and foot and ankle. Many of our partners have a wide patient network and see many referrals from far outside the referral network. Most of this is given their extensive subspecialty expertise, which we would expect from our incoming total joint surgeon once their practice is built. We feel that a significant opportunity exists within our region and referral network for a Total Joint Orthopedic Specialist to rapidly grow our busy practice.
About Orthopedic Centers of Colorado (OCC)
Orthopedic Centers of Colorado has 19 locations across the front range and encompasses 150 dedicated, experienced orthopedic surgeons, doctors, and allied health specialists. The physicians at Cornerstone Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, a division of OCC, are highly trained specialists in the field of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. Our physicians and staff are committed to providing each patient with orthopaedic excellence through compassionate care.
We apply the latest technological advances in the treatment of orthopaedic conditions. We recommend surgery only when non-surgical techniques have been insufficient for our patients’ fullest recovery. If surgery is required, we offer expert state-of-the-art surgical techniques aimed at our patients’ rapid return to normal function. Following surgery, we initiate physical therapy as soon as possible and follow our patients to full recovery.
We staff three clinics in the Denver area, operate out of several surgery centers, and partner with OCC Imaging for MRI needs. A new associate would be placed on partnership track with the hope that they would be able to be fully participatory in those facilities within 2-3 years of starting with us.
We admit patients to an excellent hospital system, Lutheran Medical Center. A majority of hospital-based spine procedures would be done at Lutheran Surgery Center, a 5 minute walk from our main office. We are compensated on a per diem basis for Emergency Room call, and this would be available as a good revenue source for an associate starting a practice. All partners share group/weekend and trauma call, which is at a Level 3 acuity.
Colorado isn’t a sit-down kind of state, and the team at Orthopedic Centers of Colorado understands that better than anyone. Our orthopedic specialists have a true passion for the active Colorado lifestyle; and it fuels our approach to helping each patient achieve their personal goals.
