The Bobby R. Alford Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery is seeking a full-time Head and Neck Surgeon who will contribute to the department's mission to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model best practices in clinical care and public health through research, teaching, and clinical service. Candidates must have extensive experience and interest in complex ablative head and neck oncologic surgery and minimally invasive techniques (TORS/TLM).
Responsibilities include direct patient care in a busy general otolaryngology service, as well as supervision of trainees, to mentor and develop skills and knowledge required for an academic career. Participation is expected in tumor board conferences, educational activities, and clinical research projects as opportunities present.
Academic Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
- Texas Medical License or eligibility for a Texas Faculty Temporary License
- Board-certified or board-eligible in otolaryngology
- Completion of American Head & Neck Society (AHNS)-Accredited Fellowship
