WellSpan Health is actively seeking a board-certified and fellowship-trained physician to serve as the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer for our Orthopedic Service Line. Minimum qualifications include M.D. or D.O. with at least five years of experience in both orthopedics and physician leadership.
Serves approximately 40% of time providing clinical care and 60% in administrative leadership capacity.
Leads through a dyad relationship with the Vice President of Operations. Drives clinical improvement efforts to ensure the widespread deployment of evidence-based practice for safe, effective, equitable, patient-centered, and efficient care.
Pursues innovation and drives value initiatives.
Provides overall vision, strategy, and direction for the service line that builds trust and community among physicians, APPs, and other clinical staff.
Reports to Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of WellSpan Medical Group.
