Otolaryngology

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a full time Otolaryngologist to join their well established practice in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Practice has a large patient panel and is continuing to experience significant growth and looking to expand services to our other locations including St. Francis and Emporia Medical Centers. Successful candidate will be capable of both Medical and Surgical ENT care and to treat patients in both a clinical and inpatient setting. Team includes one MD, strong support from NP and on site Audiologist. Providers are seeing 20% Pediatrics and 80% Adult. There is VNG and allergy testing on site. Experience or knowledge of otology and head and neck plastics is a plus. Duties include managing allergy patients and promote practice at all three locations. Strong CMA and LPN support. Mentorship available to new grads.

Responsibilities:

• See patients for scheduled appointment (hospital follow ups and pre-op medical clearance)
• Follow up on patient labs/imaging studies with assistance of LPN/CMA
• Perform surgical cases at Southside Regional Medical Center
• Allergy injection oversight
• Call is 1:3
• Average 25 patients per day in clinic
• Physicians performing an average of 1,000 cases annually

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified Otolaryngology
• Fellowship training is a bonus
