A crisis stabilization unit is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
As if all that sunshine werent enough, San Diego is a waterfront city with top-notch restaurants, beautiful ocean-sprayed vistas, neighborhoods that are steeped in history and culture, and a centrally located urban park.
The clinician will work full-time hours each week and will see patients who are coming in involuntarily. The clinician will determine if they need to be hospitalized or allowed to go back into the community. There will be some medication management as well. The clinician will be working with 1 psych NP. Credentialing takes 2-3 weeks.
