A facility is seeking an infectious disease physician for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Pure, Michigan.
The schedule is 8a-5p in-house plus call. The call is very light, perm docs that have been there for 3 years have never returned to the facility for a callback. There is a clinic that manages HIV, but the Locum will be responsible for inpatient consults only. There is a closed ICU with intensivists in-house. Locum would be handing off to another perm MD after their call week. Adults only patients, no peds. Must have an active Michigan License, CSR, DEA required. Michigan-based MDs are preferred but will consider travel and lodging to include airfare. Malpractice coverage provided.
