A facility is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Folsom, CA.
They are expected to cover the OB Emergency Department at Mercy General Hospital, cover all patients in L&D, provide any emergency OBGYN consults for the hospital, be available for any emergent surgical assist needs, and manage labor and delivery for community-based physician patients. They have an option of 6 x 24-hour shifts or 12, 12-hour shifts per month. They also need to 5 shifts per month of back up call. The EMR is Cerner. There is a respiratory therapist on site, Neonatology is available with the group, and virtual support is available.
