What Are We Seeking?
Piedmont Columbus Regional is seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join a busy, well-established PCMH level 3 certification pediatric practice. The successful candidate will be employed by Columbus Regional Medical Group (a multi-specialty group practice of 80+ doctors). This physician will join a practice with one experienced Pediatrician, and Nurse Practitioner, and specialized personnel to support the growth of his/her practice and a regional program. In addition, we employ two pediatric hospitalists, a pediatric neurologist, pediatric endocrinologist, and adolescent GYN.
The ideal candidate will be willing to teach, energetic and eager to learn. This practice provides a large patient base with a wide range of pathology and the administrative infrastructure necessary to support a new physician. Call is one-in-five weekends (only well nursery coverage and we do not share call with the hospitalists); the physician will not be expected to attend C-sections/deliveries. An interest in adolescent medicine and developmental pediatrics is preferred but not required. We offer competitive benefits and opportunity for earnings at the 75th percentile.
