Inpatient Medical Director, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in Minnesota
StartDate: ASAP
The University of Minnesota’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, part of the Division of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, is seeking an Inpatient Medical Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation due to growth. This is an outstanding role for a physiatrist who wants to take on more responsibility and be part of an academic group, including resident and fellowship education and research if desired. The successful candidate will oversee a 30-bed, CARF-accredited, comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) within a large academic healthcare center. This clinical leader will help ensure exceptional patient care by fostering positive collaboration among care teams through open communication. Candidate physiatrists must be graduates of an accredited PM&R residency training program, be board-certified or board-eligible with the American Board of PM&R (ABPM&R), and have at least two years of training or experience in the medical management of inpatients requiring rehabilitation services.
