Michigan Heart and Vascular Institute, a nationally recognized cardiology practice and member of IHA, has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a fellowship trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible Electrophysiologist to join this well-respected practice with locations in Ann Arbor and Livonia, Michigan.
Michigan Heart is a 30 physician single-specialty cardiovascular medical group located in Southeast Michigan on the campus of St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor. Due to strategic growth initiatives, the group is recruiting a fellowship-trained, Board Certified or Board Eligible (with board certification required within two years of hire) Electrophysiologist with experience in a full complement of electrophysiology procedures to join five established Electrophysiologists.
This physician will be part of a collegial team that equitably distributes work assignments and outreach activities. Michigan Heart physicians have been recruited from the country’s premiere training programs and share a vision of emphasizing both remarkable patient care and physician quality of life.
The shared call coverage for this opportunity is 1:7.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
Michigan Heart is recognized nationally as a leader among large cardiovascular medicine subspecialty practices. We are based out of St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is comprised of a single group with 40 Cardiologists and Cardiology APPs. We have integrated with St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor, a member of Trinity Health, one of the largest Catholic health care organizations in the United States. Trinity Health is based in Livonia, Michigan.
We collaborate with our cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons (both single groups) within a forum called the Michigan Heart & Vascular Institute (MHVI). Our practice locations span across much of southeastern Michigan. Regional partnering hospitals include St. Mary Mercy in Livonia, Chelsea Community Hospital and St Joseph Livingston in Howell, Michigan.
We have a comprehensive Electrophysiology program including EP studies, complex Ablations, Pacemaker and ICD implantation, as well as laser assisted extractions in a hybrid OR setting. We have one of the largest noninvasive cardiology practices in the country with a full complement of services including echocardiography (including 3D), Transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear stress, noninvasive vascular studies, cardiac CTAs, and cardiac MRIs. We provide a full range of coronary interventional procedures including cardiac catheterizations, PCIs, and complex CTO PCI. Our peripheral interventional program includes carotid, upper extremity, renal/mesenteric, aorto-iliac, fem-pop and below the knee PVI and renal denervation procedures. Our structural heart program includes BAV, TAVR, mitral valvuloplasty, MitraClip, ASD/PFO closure, left atrial appendage closure, alcohol septal ablation, EKOS, CardioMems and coronary fistula closure procedures.
