Hospitalist to Support Co-management Model for Neuroscience Located in Coastal Massachusetts

Southcoast Physicians Group is seeking a Hospitalist to join our group in supporting medical management for patients admitted to the neurosurgical and neurology unit. Position will function in a collaborative relationship with neurosurgical and neurology services. This is an outstanding opportunity for a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join Southcoast Physicians Group, the region's largest integrated network of multidisciplinary physicians and mid-level providers.

• Position will function in a co-management model supporting medical management of neurosurgical and neurology admissions.
• Day position Monday Friday
• Acute stroke managed by telemedicine service
• Large Hospitalist Group with 40+ Providers
• Position located at St. Luke s in New Bedford (423 beds)
• MA Licensed
• Competitive salary and comprehensive benefit package
• Board certified / board eligible in Internal Medicine
• MD or DO with completion of US residency required
