Seeking Experienced Hospitalist PA.

Hospitalist Service

• Average Daily Encounters: 107
• 15 full-time physicians; two full-time APPs
• Scheduling 7 on 7 off schedule
• Hospitalists do not do procedures

• Full-service, 231-bed acute care medical and surgery center
• Signature services include 24/7 Emergency care, level II Trauma Center, Virginia Institute of Robotic Surgery featuring daVinci Xi, Mazor X Stealth Edition, Mako Robotic Arm, Bright Matter and Modus V technologies

• Level II Trauma Center
• Meditech EMR
• 18% Admission rate
• Coverage: 24/7 physician and PA coverage
• Qualifications: board certified/ eligible
• Also staff new Free Standing ED in Tyson's Corner, VA that opened 2/23/22

Pediatric Emergency Department

• ED Volume: 4,000
• 6 beds
• Provide pediatric services to ED, Pediatric Unit (15 beds), and Well-Baby Nursery
• A pediatrician is on-call at night for PED admits. Can admit from home.
• Function out of the ED and see medical Pediatric ED patients
• Responsible for any pediatric patients without a primary care provider admitted from the ED to the Pediatric Unit
• Responsible for any well-born babies in the nursery without a primary care provider
• Third level of backup to Neonatal Program – once a week (well-baby births)
