Full Time Physician (Geriatrics) Position

Full Time Physician (Geriatrics) position – The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is actively recruiting a full-time gerontologist with specific interest and prior experience in heart failure management in the elderly.  Candidates will work in a variety of clinical venues, including the outpatient geriatric clinic, and may also be called upon to provide geriatric consultative services in our community living center as well as on the acute medical wards.

Qualified candidates will have a full unrestricted license (MD/DO) and will have completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in Geriatrics.  Board certification is preferred.  THE VANEOHS is a large tertiary care healthcare system providing advanced care to our nation’s Veterans in the Cleveland Metropolitan area and is a primary affiliate of Case Western University School of Medicine.  

Applicants should demonstrate an interest in teaching medical students, residents and fellows and should have demonstrated evidence of prior experience with precepting trainees.  Qualified candidates will receive an academic appoint through CWRU SOM commensurate with their training and experience.
