Pediatric Search Partners has been engaged for the search for a new Section Chief, Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine to oversee, lead and grow the division at The Children s Hospital of San Antonio, the first and only freestanding, academic, not-for-profit children s hospital in San Antonio.
We are seeking an innovative thought leader in the field to join existing faculty members of the division in building a robust clinical program for the comprehensive care of children requiring Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. The new Section Chief ideally will bring talents and skills that expand the division s existing strengths in general ENT and the Vascular Anomalies and Hearing Programs.
The Baylor Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology is a primary clinical unit of function in the Baylor Department of Pediatric Surgery at the Children s Hospital of San Antonio. The Division Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology reports directly to the Baylor Chair of the Department of Pediatric Surgery, and is the primary advocate for the Division s faculty, clinical and educational programs. The Division Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology is responsible for the clinical and administrative oversight and leadership for Pediatric Otolaryngology, ensuring that high quality clinical, research and teaching services are provided through the physicians, clinical and administrative staff in the division.
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Fellowship trained and Board Certified in Pediatric Otolaryngology
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board or eligible to be licensed
- Previous leadership experience required
- Proven communication and leadership skills
- Recognized in the community among medical staff for commitment to excellence in all areas
