Generalist Obstetrician/Gynecologist

We have two types of positions for a generalist Obstetrician Gynecologist seeking a full scope practice:

1) 1.0 FTE benefited position

2) per diem position for those looking for a more flexible schedule

Mission Bernal Women’s Clinic is a Sutter Health affiliate run by the California Pacific Medical Center hospital system in San Francisco. We are a collaborative community practice of midwives and doctors with strong academic ties dedicated to serving low income people of San Francisco and the growing population of young people working in startups in the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology services to our patients, including low intervention obstetrics care, preventive gynecologic services, minimally invasive surgery, and family planning.

Other practice highlights:

-Strong partnerships with Maternal Fetal Medicine, OB Genetics, Gyn Oncology and Urogynecology within the Sutter Health System

-Teaching opportunities of medical students and midwifery students

-Research opportunities within California Pacific Medical Center Research Institute and Sutter Health Institute for Advancing Health Equity (include Maternal Health Equity Program)

-Leadership opportunities in quality improvement, clinical guidelines updates and other ongoing initiatives

-Excellent balance of inpatient and outpatient care and work hours

-Speaking Spanish fluently extremely helpful

-Board certified or board eligible
