University of Kentucky seeks an Assistant Professor of Medicine/ Rheumatologist in Lexington, KY to provide primary care, general internal medicine, ambulatory service, hospital-based clinical service and clinical teaching for the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology; perform didactic lectures in a classroom setting; and provide clinical teaching and supervision of fellows, residents and students in the College of Medicine. Assistant Program director for the rheumatology fellowship program. Maintain skills and medical knowledge in rheumatology and internal medicine by participation in educational conferences such as journal clubs, grand rounds, tumor boards, and regional/national professional organizations. 

This position requires a M.D., D.O. or foreign equivalent, board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine, board eligible/board certified in Rheumatology, eligible for Kentucky State Medical License.   National background check and/or drug screen may be required.   National background check and/or drug screen may be required.  Travel to multiple worksites in Fayette County, KY and Rockcastle County, KY.
