Urologist

Job duties: Assess and treat illnesses, injuries, diseases, and other complications in the urinary tract and the male reproductive system. Review patient medical history, diet, and symptoms. Diagnose urinary issues by analyzing test results and patient symptoms. Prescribe medication as needed to treat patients for various urinary problems. Perform certain procedures such as vasectomies, prostate biopsies, and cystoscopies, as well as robotic, endoscopic, microscopic, and open surgery. Develop patient care plans. Collaborate with other medical staff members regarding patient diagnoses, testing, and procedures. Determine treatment methods and discuss the potential benefits and risks with patients.

Minimum requirements: Medical degree or foreign equivalent, completion of residency training program in urology, Board Eligible or Board certified in urology, and a Georgia Medical License
