NYU Grossman School of Medicine: Dermatology
New York, NY
The NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology seeks to identify a full-time academic dermatologist and program director for our highly regarded ACGME-accredited 25-resident training program. The program director oversees the administrative staff and numerous other faculty assigned to support the residency program. This opening is part of a planned succession as our current long term program director assumes greater departmental responsibilities.
The NYU Grossman School of Medicine’s Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology has upheld a tradition of leadership and excellence that spans the history of dermatology in the United States. Our education program provides dermatologic instruction for students of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, specialty training for residents and fellows at NYU Langone Health, Bellevue Hospital Center, and the Department of Veterans Affairs New York Harbor Health System-Manhattan Campus; and advanced training for experienced physicians through the NYU Department of Continuing Medical Education. The Department is a center for collaborative research addressing dermatologic disorders and cancers of the skin. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to join a leading program with a national reputation for teaching, research and state-of-the-art patient care.
Candidate must be board certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology, with experience as Program Director or Associate Program Director at another ACGME-accredited Dermatology Residency Training Program in good standing, and hold a New York State license at the time of proposed employment.
