Candidates should fulfill the ideal characteristics for IDSA volunteer leaders and also have deep understanding of the challenges faced by the field of infectious diseases, with a passion to build awareness and improve its visibility.

The Editor-in-Chief is supported by a Deputy Editor, Associate Editors, a Statistical Editor and a large and diversified Editorial Advisory Board, as well as a Managing Editor and IDSA publications staff.
