Neurology Residency Program Director Opportunity in Orlando, FL
Job Summary:
HCA Florida Osceola Hospital is seeking an exceptional neurologist, ideally with subspecialty training in epilepsy, neuromuscular, or movement disorder, to join as Program Director of our neurology residency programQualified Candidates:
- ABPN certification required
- Subspecialty training in epilepsy, neuromuscular, or movement disorder preferred
- MUST have at least 3 years of documented leadership, administrative, and academic experience in an ACGME-accredited neurology residency program
- Devote a minimum of 35% FTE (1.75 days/week) of non-clinical time to the administration of the program
- Neurology faculty to resident ratio of 1:1
- Will be responsible for administration and operations; teaching and scholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation, promotion, and disciplinary action; supervision of residents; and resident education in the context of patient care
- HCA Florida Osceola Hospital and University of Central Florida COM have successfully built residencies/fellowships in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Emergency Medicine, OBGYN, Psychiatry, General Surgery, and Neurology
