Primary Care and Pain Management/Addiction Medicine Physician, Anoka Clinic

HealthPartners RiverWay – Anoka Clinic is a large multi-specialty clinic serving the Northwest Metro of the Twin Cities in Minnesota.  This is a thriving primary care practice looking for an experienced physician to join their team.  We are actively recruiting an exceptional board-eligible / board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join the primary care and pain management/addiction team at our HealthPartners RiverWay – Anoka Clinic. This position is ideal for a primary care physician certified for buprenorphine prescribing ("Suboxone prescriber") and interested in medical management of chronic pain.  Completion of fellowship in addiction and experience in medical management of chronic pain is a plus.  Practice will be a split practice between primary care and non-interventional pain management team, or non-interventional pain management and addiction medicine.  The pain management clinic includes on-site pain psychology and specialty support. 

This is a full-time position, working 32 or 36 patient contact hours per week, part-time will be considered as well. Previous electronic medical record (EMR) experience is helpful but not required. We use the Epic system in all of our clinics and admitting hospitals. This position does not include hospital rounding or call. 

Our Anoka Clinic includes family medicine, pediatrics, allergy, endocrinology, mental health, podiatry, pulmonology, rheumatology, OB/GYN, gastroenterology general surgery. In addition, this clinic also offers on site urgent care, lab and radiology services.
