Guthrie Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Physician to join its busy well-established practice.

Highlights of the Position

  • Physicians cover pulmonary outpatient clinic, the pulmonary inpatient consults, and the medical critical care unit/ICU.
  • Call schedule will be split with coverage of the pulmonary and ICU services at night and on weekends.
  • Opportunities for teaching, current faculty teach IM and FM residents, medical students, and RT students. The Section started a Pulmonary/CCM fellowship in 2020.
  • The Pulmonary/Critical Care Section provides medical directorship to the medical critical care closed ICU 26-bed medical, surgical, trauma, and cardiac patients; Department of Respiratory Care, and the School of Respiratory Therapy.
  • Robust EHR (Epic 10-Star health system, top 1% of Epic organizations)

About the Hospital

A 254-bed tertiary care referral center, Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa., is the recipient of numerous national awards for the high quality care it provides to patients.
