Assistant Professor of Medicine

The University of Mississippi Medical Center, Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, located at 2500 N. State St., Jackson. MS 39216, seeks an Assistant Professor of Medicine to treat rheumatology patients in an outpatient clinic and inpatients at University Hospital, will examine and manage care for rheumatology patients including Lupus, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Gout, Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, Uveitis, and other various rheumatological diseases, will complete research within the Division of Rheumatology, and will teach residents and medical students at 2500 N. State St., Jackson, MS 39216, 960J. K. Avent Dr., Grenada, MS 38901, and 1010 Lakeland Pl., Flowood, MS 39232. Requires travel to work sites within 120 miles. A candidate must have a Medical Degree or its foreign, equivalent and must have completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Rheumatology and must be eligible to obtain a Mississippi Medical License.
