A community hospital is seeking a hematologist/oncologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in northern California.
The clinician will be responsible for supervising other health care providers. The EMR system is Cerner. The clinician will see primary adults and geriatrics. The assignment is full scope hematology/oncology. There will be 5 - 10 calls per week via phone. An ACLS, BLS, and DEA are required. Credentialing takes 60 days. Clean malpractice will help expedite credentialing in this emergent situation, thus no open malpractice and no malpractice history at all is most preferred.
