Job Description:

We have an immediate opening for a one-year paid Mohs Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatology (MS/CD) Fellowship starting September 1, 2022 in Long Island, New York.

Cosmetique Dermatology, Laser & Plastic Surgery, located on the Gold Coast of the North Shore of Nassau County, Long Island, is currently offering a unique opportunity to complete a one-year Mohs fellowship which will enable you to self-attest to the active practice of micrographic surgery as part of the patient care activities necessary to be eligible to take the Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery (MDS) subspecialty certification exam.

  • The MS/CD Fellow must be a U.S. citizen with a New York medical license. 
  • The Fellow must also be a board-certified or board-eligible dermatologist who has graduated from an ACGME-approved 3-year dermatology residency program.

Fellowship training will be provided in both Mohs surgery, reconstruction and cosmetic dermatology by a world-renowned Mohs surgeon and plastic surgeon, each with over 25 years of experience.  If selected, the Fellow will learn the complete spectrum of the Mohs procedure for treating a variety of skin cancers, as well as flaps, grafts and advanced reconstruction, fillers, neurotoxins, lasers, liposuction.

With an average of over 1,200 Mohs surgery cases performed every year, a MS/CD fellowship at Cosmetique Dermatology provides the perfect solution for achieving board certification through the self-attestation pathway as defined by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD).
