Gastroenterology

University of Michigan Health-West is seeking a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist to join an innovative, collaborative environment. Candidate would join a growing and expanding Service Line with expertise Hepatology and general Gastroenterology. This may include, but is not limited to, patients experiencing acute and chronic gastrointestinal and liver diseases and conditions.

GI Practice Features

• Health system employed medical group model; extensive Primary Care referral network
• Practice of ten (10) providers
• Subspecialty service lines including interventional endoscopy and hepatology already operational as well asInflammatory Bowel Disease service line
• Single hospital coverage
• Dedicated GI HOPD adjacent to the hospital with plans to expand to additional ASC when needed
• Inpatient / Office and Endoscopy procedures
• APP support for inpatient and outpatient work
• EMR (Epic) with digital retrieval and access to studies from the office, the hospital and home
• Opportunities such as teaching, clinical research, case conferences, and working closely with Michigan Medicine faculty members
