Pulmonary Medicine

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Join three pulmonary physicians and one PA in an established pulmonary practice
• Ability to perform a hybrid schedule (0.5 FTE ICU and 0.5 FTE pulmonary) although not required
• Comprehensive Endoscopy suite with equipment for Bronchoscopy, EBUS, / bronchial thermoplasty, endobronchial valve therapy, stenting, hot and cold modalities (APC, EC, cryotherapy)
• Monarch Auris Robotic Bronchoscopy (only site in the State of ND) with ability to train to use
• Multidisciplinary tumor board
• Pulmonary out-patient clinic and pulmonary in-patient consultation
• Pulmonary outreach to Detroit Lakes, MD, Jamestown, ND, and Wahpeton, ND
• Comprehensive PFT lab
• Pulmonary rehab capabilities
• Pulmonary call prorated to FTE. Call hours during the week are 7am-5pm.PA assistance with initial consultation and follow ups
• 12-18 clinic patients a day
• Hospital consults are seen after Clinic with dedicated blocked time for hospital rounding; usually 1-3 new
• patients on average / day.
• Collegial group of physicians with dedicated, supportive staff.

REQUIREMENTS

• BC/BE in Pulmonary Medicine

• Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota
• Four hours south of Winnepeg
• Three and a half hours northwest of Minneapolis/St. Paul
• Fargo-Moorhead population: 250,000
• Regional Service area consists of 25 clinics & 7 hospitals
