Physician Noninvasive Cardiologist

Bassett Medical Center, and the Bassett Healthcare Network, an academic health system centered in Cooperstown, New York, is seeking a Noninvasive Cardiologist to join our staff. The faculty practice consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 surgeons, and 17 advanced practice clinicians. The Bassett network includes over 500 employed physicians. Cooperstown is a vibrant upstate community set in a bucolic lake front village with four seasons of cultural and outdoor activity.

Job Summary:

Provide clinical and consultative care within the hospital and office setting. Full range of noninvasive testing including MRI, CT, echo and nuclear cardiology. Faculty teaching of our cardiology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students. Night call twice monthly with fellow and resident support.

Resources:

• Cardiac cath lab with STEMI and structural program.
• Electrophysiology program with full range of device implantation and ablation programs.
• Cardiac surgery service.
• Medical school campus in conjunction with Columbia University and active teaching program.

Job Qualifications:

• MD/DO
• BC/BE ABIM Cardiovascular Disease
• NYS Licensure
