Penn State Health Children’s Hospital Division of Adolescent Medicine is seeking a BC/BE full-time Adolescent Medicine Physician.

  • The faculty member will join 4 Adolescent Medicine fellowship-trained pediatricians, as well as 3 nurse practitioners and other subspecialists
  • Multidisciplinary clinical practice, with a concentration on pre-teens,  teens, and young adults with eating disorders
  • Other divisional clinical activities include the treatment of complex medical/psychosocial disorders, weight management, reproductive health, gender health and substance use disorders; clinical responsibilities involve both outpatient clinical work and consultation on inpatient units..
  • Opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Opportunities to initiate and participate in clinical research and quality projects
  • Academic rank is commensurate with experience
  • As a member of the academic division, there are ample opportunities to initiate and participate in scholarly projects
  • There is also the unique opportunity to enroll in our institution's Junior Faculty Development program
  • This is a mature program designed to assist junior faculty in the development of a project that can lead to a successful and fulfilling academic career

What we’re seeking:

  • We are seeking someone trained in Adolescent Medicine
  • MD, D.O., or foreign equivalent
  • Ability to acquire a license to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • BC/BE in Adolescent Medicine preferred
