Tufts Medical Center is seeking an Addictions Psychiatrist to join our expanding team of collaborative physicians at Tufts Medical Center, the principal teaching hospital for Tufts University School of Medicine in Downtown Boston. The position is flexible regarding the proportion of inpatient (consultative) and outpatient work. There are ample opportunities to do multidisciplinary work with other departments and expand the outpatient addiction clinic to accommodate more MAT as well as longitudinal management of complex dually-diagnosed patients.

How you'll transform patient care:

• Help with discharge of patients to support with a pain management course of treatment that is less addictive
• Contribute in building a fellowship program
• Be part of a collaborative team
• Have the opportunity to perform patient care cross-functionally with other discipline to elevate their level of treatment
• Academic appointment with Tufts University School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience and academic track record

Who you are:

• Possess an MD, or equivalent, and eligible to obtain a medical license in the State of Massachusetts
• BC/BE in Psychiatry
• Fellowship training in Addiction Psychiatry preferred
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clinicians, administrators, and department staff
• Research-based professional that thrives on creativity
