Southern California Surgical Oncology Opportunity

Join our rapidly expanding, nationally recognized cancer institute as we seek to hire a full time Surgical Oncologist in our Santa Clarita, California location. This position is a rare opportunity to work in a 500+ member integrated, multidisciplinary Medical Group Practice serving an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in highly desirable Southern California, within our established Department of Surgical Oncology. This is a unique opportunity to practice at an institution that is on the frontlines of both cancer research and treatment. This iconic medical center is an expanding institution in both numbers of patients per year as well as infrastructure investment in clinical, academic and research facilities.

The Opportunity:

• Clinical Duties Include: 2 half days in clinic and 2 days OR
• 95% Clinical role with some ability to do research and work with Fellows
• Join a team of experienced physician subspecialists plus Medical Assistants, RN s, LVN s and PA s (assist in OR along with other surgeons).
• Practice offers a very quick ramp up time to a motivated physician.
• Ability to take General Surgery call. (No trauma)
• Candidates with interest and experience in teaching along with demonstrated clinical and scholarly research, strongly encouraged to apply.
• Sign on Bonus & Relocation Assistance Available
• Must be Board Eligible/Certified

Compensation:

Base Salary: 270,000-425,000

Sign on Bonus: Case by Case

Relocation: guaranteed; varies case by case.

The range listed is exclusively for base compensation for full-time employment and does not include incentive compensation or benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted for experience, training, hospital/community need and other factors.
