St. Peter's Health Partners Medical Associates is seeking a Fellowship trained, Board Certified Thoracic Surgeon to join our outstanding and well-established Thoracic Surgery practices located in the Capital District, New York.
The Thoracic Surgeons perform a full range of surgical procedures in a high-volume community-based hospital setting within a physician governed environment on the campuses of St. Peter s Hospital in Albany and Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
St. Peter s Health Partners Medical Associates is a leader in the New York Capital Region for Thoracic Care. Our Thoracic programs have consistently been recognized by independent health care quality researchers as one of the best Thoracic programs in New York state and in the nation.
This full-time, hospital employed opportunity offers strong surgical PA support and has clinic and surgical offices conveniently located on the hospital campuses. There is a robust referral network from both the employed and non-employed regional cardiology practices, as well as a large geographic catchment area that includes southern Vermont and western Massachusetts, along with western New York. Call is 1:3.
Candidates interested in this opportunity should possess the following: Board Certification or Eligibility by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery; robotic certification and experience is a plus; a minimum of two years of working experience is preferred; State of New York licensure or eligibility.
