Job Position: Associate Chief Medical Office, SVP of Population Health
In this role, you will lead and provide a wide range of support through population health, quality measures, practice transformation, Rendr360 department, House Calls, and other projects.
Essential Functions:
- Provides strategic leadership in population health, quality management, care management, and other areas of health projects
- Tracks progress against measures that evaluate and improve quality and reduce health care cost
- Lead, grow and support the care coordination and management team at Rendr360
- Oversees the key performance in population health, patient experience, and patient safety
- Lead and support the quality department in achieving measurable improvements in Rendrs patients
- Lead practice transformation and integration of new programs and services
- Participate and support Health Home and House Call projects within the Rendr360 department
- Oversees organizations risk adjustment, value based programs and other medical economics related programs
- Responsible for utilization management in the evaluation of medical necessity and efficiency in use of health care services, procedures, etc.
- Create a clinically integrated network within Rendr
- Represent Rendr when dealing with external organizations and vendors
- Responsible for the upkeep of relationships with vendors and hospitals
- Other related tasks and projects
Qualifications/ Requirements:
- MD with a current, valid, unrestricted license in NY; DEA license
- 5+ years of primary care experience; Internal Medicine or Family Medicine a plus
- Bi-lingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Prior experience in physician leadership role specifically in population health
- Ability to effectively multi-task with a high degree of integrity
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to influence and lead
- Experience in a startup environment a plus
- Work a full-time work schedule including weekends, rotating hours, and holidays
