.We are a well-established medical center in beautiful Northern California. We are the leading provider of urgent care and employer services in our region. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic physician for a full-time position.

Work for a growing a multi-specialty clinic (Workers Compensation, Clinical Medicine, Urgent Care, Women’s Health and Employer Services.

  • Full-service Workers' Compensation, Occupational Medicine Clinic looking for Physician MD or DO.
  • Will mostly see new injuries, and Pre-placement physicals. DOT certification a plus.
  • Responsibilities include clinic, follow up and established patients
  • Focused on workers compensation treatment plans, follow ups, and complaints.
  • Small office procedures, clinic.
  • Must be able to differentiate between the two medical services providing the optimal level of medical decision making.
  • Maintain high standard of medical practice and participate in the training development of the team.
  • Evaluate patients and determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan.
  • Perform clinical procedures within the scope and skill of MD or DO.
  • Exemplify an example in attitude toward patients and staff thereby performing duties with respect, dignity, privacy, and modesty to the patients.
  • Participate in the development of clinic protocols making recommendations & suggestions for clinic improvement including staff education.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the clinic’s medical support staff regarding the administering of patient care.
  • Possess knowledge of rehabilitation methods for work related injuries.
  • Advise on fitness, workplace safety, prevention of injuries.
  • Be familiar with work-place toxic properties & materials as well as work-place hazards.
  • Be able to understand a workplace and recommend the implementation of policies to maintain a safe and health workplace.
  • Completion of all patient’s charts daily.
  • Completion of all required workers compensation forms, letters & claims.
  • As an advocate for employers, must be able to evaluate the interaction between work and health.
  • Perform other job-related duties as may be assigned by the practice.

The Physician must have a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine preferably in urgent care and occupational medicine. Must have patience and professionalism to manage demanding situations effectively. Knowledge of the processes and practices for urgent care required with workers’ compensation practices preferred. Scheduling flexibility required based on clinic needs.

Requirements of the Physician

  • California board certified
  • Medical Director track
  • An active DEA licenses
  • Current California license without restriction

Compensation and Benefits

  • Schedule Monday thru Friday
  • No weekend rounding, or call
  • Competitive Compensation DOE
