The Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology at CBMC and Rutgers NJMS have integrated the Residency Program to offer a highly acclaimed educational program designed to train the Obstetrics and Gynecology leaders of tomorrow. Our program offers broad exposure to both high risk and common maternal health as well as high volume across all of the OB/GYN specialties with significant depth and breadth of cases and an emphasis on bedside and clinical teaching, career and personal development, and opportunities to pursue learning through research (clinical and basic science) with an environment that is supportive of other professional development and academic endeavors.

The successful candidate will hold an executive position with the primary responsibility of overseeing the department's Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Training Program. The Program Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a training program that recruits top candidates and provides them with an optimal education.  In addition to administrative duties, the Physician shall provide clinical coverage in obstetrics and gynecology and relevant specialties, as appropriate and based on training with reporting to the Clinical Chair of CBMC. Qualified candidates will meet requirements to be an Associate or Full Professor, Clinical Educator Track, non-Tenure, at Rutgers NJMS.

The Residency Program Director will participate in departmental and hospital committees and activities as outlined by both the Clinical Chair at CBMC and Academic Chair at Rutgers NJMS. The qualified applicant will work to advance the mission and stature of the division and department through involvement in scholarly activity, including grant-writing, grand rounds, advocacy and/or participation on local/regional/national committees or organizations. There is support from the department for all of these educational and research activities.
