Non-Invasive Cardiology

WellSpan Health, a sophisticated medical community in south central Pennsylvania, is seeking a full-time general cardiologist to join our growing practice in historic Gettysburg, PA.

This practice is easily commutable from the Baltimore Metro area. Interest/experience in Advanced Cardiac Imaging and/or Advanced Heart Failure is a plus.

About the Practice

• 100% consultative cardiology in a comprehensive clinical practice
• The new physician will join four cardiologists and two CRNPs
• Position involves full scope of modalities of non-invasive cardiology
• The newly renovated office includes 11 exam rooms & comfortable physician offices
• The office is located directly across the street from Gettysburg Hospital
• WellSpan is a fully integrated EPIC system
• Steady stream of complex cardiology referrals from a large primary care referral base
• Gettysburg Hospital is the only hospital in Adams County
• Their Emergency Department does 35,000+ visits per year
• Interesting mix of patients: college faculty, retirees, tourists & migrant families
• Cardiology services enjoys unwavering support from hospital administration
• Gettysburg Hospital has a well-established PCI program
• The EP service is growing and staffed 5 days per week
• LVAD, ECMO and CT Surgery patients transferred to WellSpan s York Hospital
