The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery within the School of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego (http://ortho.ucsd.edu/
) is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and is recruiting for an Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training.
Responsibilities will include patient care, teaching and research at UC San Diego Health
The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate of Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on the University of California pay scales. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.
As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited. - MD or DO or related degrees
- Completed a U.S. accredited residency training program in Orthopaedic Surgery at the time of application
- Candidate must also be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California
- Be American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certified or eligible
Additional qualifications (required at time of start)
- Completed fellowship training in a Orthopaedic Specialty at the start date
