Clinical Neuro- Oncology Opportunity in Miami, FL

The University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine is seeking to hire an Assistant Professor for their Neuro-Oncology Division, Department of Neurology. The incumbent will provide care for the inpatient and outpatients services at UMH, Doral and Neurology clinics at UMHC.

Job Description:

• Primary clinical focus will be in the treatment of primary and metastatic brain tumors as well as neurologic complications from their malignancy
• Research effort will be devoted to the development of the conduct of clinical research and the conduct or facilitation of translational research
• Expected to provide teaching to students, residents and fellows in both the inpatient and outpatient settings
• Preparation and presentation at teaching conferences
• 70% Clinical, 20% Research and 10% Inpatient services
• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Staff mix: 3 Neurologists

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires an MD degree from an accredited University (or foreign equivalent)
• Eligible to obtain a valid Florida Medical License
• Prefers candidates involved in Research
