Join a solid team of 4 OB/Gyn colleagues, 6 Nurse Midwives and an excellent nursing staff. CNM’s take primary OB call which reduces time the physician must come to the hospital on evenings and weekends. Competitive compensation and excellent benefit package (see below). Completed in 2010, the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center includes an OB wing/C-Section room with close proximity to 4 (soon to be 6) large OR’s. We do about 900 OB deliveries a year and OR volume is approximately 5,400 cases annually (includes Gynecology, General, Orthopedic, etc.). Average tenure of our current OB/Gyn physicians is over a decade.

Candidate has graduated from an accredited Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School and completed a U.S. accredited OB/Gyn residency program. Must have a state medical license and be eligible for an Oklahoma medical license. Preferred qualifications include board certification and two to five years’ post-residency experience. However, new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Ada has a population of 20K with access to three metro areas in two hours or less (Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Dallas, TX). Cost of living is below the national average. Three excellent school systems and a four-year university. A growing number of national chains, including Home Depot and Starbucks, have a presence here. The area is accented by rolling hills and beautiful trees with enough rainfall to keep it green. Sport fans have access to the OKC Thunder NBA and NCAA Div. I athletics at OU and OSU.
The Chickasaw Nation has a beautiful new two-story workout facility free to all employees and their family. Ada’s Wintersmith Park has a lake surrounded by a walking track and adjacent amphitheater. Golf courses, a country club, tennis courts and local lakes provide numerous outdoor activities to keep outdoor enthusiasts entertained. Venues like the historic McSwain Theater and East Central University offer a variety of musical and theatrical performances throughout the year.
