The collaborative group of physicians and advanced practice providers at the IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians OBGYN practice is seeking a board certified Obstetrician Gynecologist to join our compassionate team as an OB Nocturnist/Laborist in the picturesque town of Bloomington, Indiana.  This opportunity will provide on-site coverage and management of labors at our brand new hospital (recently named to U.S. News & World Report's list of the Best Hospitals for Maternity Care).

Key Responsibilities:

  • On-site 12 hour night coverage, 12 shifts per month, rotating Sunday through Thursday and NO WEEKENDS!
  • Clinically focused on L&D management with less triage responsibilities
  • Respond to calls from office and any laboring SIP patients plus any medical emergencies
  • Work alongside in-house midwives and other nocturnists
  • Procedures include:
    • Vaginal deliveries
    • C-sections
    • Some high risk with Level III NICU
  • Opportunities for clinical education of medical students rotating in practice

Compensation Details:

  • Open to part-time and full-time interest
  • Base salary with with comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to:
    • Group Insurance

    • CME reimbursement

Qualifications:

  • Completion of OB/GYN residency 
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN 
  • Practicing physicians with minimum two years of experience
  • Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure
  • Visa sponsorship is available: H1B
