Colorado Mountain Medical is seeking to hire an OB/GYN to join our multispecialty practice in the Vail Valley. The OB/GYN physician plays a key role in the organization and will test, treat, diagnose, and monitor disorders and illnesses related to women's health and their reproductive systems. They will perform exams and procedures, counsel patients, and treat women through their entire pregnancy terms and beyond.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interview patients to assess their symptoms, needs, or problems; record and utilize their medical history for diagnosis
- Perform well-women exams that include pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams
- Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their condition
- Diagnose and prescribe treatments for disorders and diseases
- Monitor and treat patients during pregnancy and childbirth, including prenatal advising up to delivery and postnatal care
- Perform surgery or labor/delivery procedures
- Order and analyze necessary tests, screenings, biopsies, scans, etc. to effectively diagnose a problem
- Direct, advise, and supervise medical staff including nurses, physician assistants, med techs etc. on proper procedures and protocol
- Keeping up to date with current practices and innovations
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Doctorate MD or DO
- Successful completion of accredited OB/GYN residency
- Board certification and state license
- Experience practicing medicine
- Expert diagnostic skills
- Trustworthy and compassionate character
- Impeccable bedside manner
- Strong communication skills
