Ob/Gyn Opportunities

Women s Care of Wood County is an Obstetrics/Gynecology practice located in Bowling Green, Ohio. Bowling Green is a University community situated between the Toledo and Columbus metropolitan areas.

The practice is a wholly-owned affiliate of Wood County Hospital, an independent private non-profit community hospital. WCWC is the primary women s health practice in Wood County with a provider group composed of Ob-Gyn physicians and mid-level providers. Delivery volumes annually for the group are about 350 per year.

A pending retirement and internal growth are prompting our search for two Ob-Gyns. We are looking for an experienced Obstetrician to augment our patient care team, and help us develop a new vision for women s health services in our community as well as a newer Ob-Gyn that will help us manage our patient growth. We are searching for a physician with a minimum of 3-5 years of practice experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and board certification as well as new grads who are board eligible. On the Gynecology side, expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques and/or robotic surgery is preferred

We are interested in physicians who desire a collegial practice environment and are attracted to a community practice setting. As an affiliate of Wood County Hospital, WCWC is able to offer an attractive compensation and benefits package as well as relocation expenses.

Qualified Candidates:

• BE/BC in OB-GYN
• Comfortable with GYN procedures
• Full-time, 40-hour workweek 8 am to 5 pm call 1 in 5
• Ohio License is required, we can help you obtain one
• Clean background.

Wood County Hospital was founded in 1951 with support from the Wood County community. Wood County residents believed so much in the hospital back then; they played a key role in its early development. They sold blankets, went door-to-door asking for donations, held bazaars, and even sold a heifer to generate funds to make sure those early years were healthy.
