MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta/Waterville, Maine is seeking a BC/BE adult psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at what Newsweek magazine has recently named one of America s best hospitals. Join our established team of 5 psychiatrists and 9 advanced practice practitioners for a fulltime position of 5 eight hour days per week, with one night call per week from home, and 8 weekends per year. We deliver a broad range of behavioral health services, from our acclaimed 30 bed dual diagnosis inpatient unit, to our intensive outpatient, med/surg consultation/liaison, ACT team, individual outpatient and ECT programs. Close relationships with the University of New England College of Medicine and the Tufts University School of Medicine offer assistant clinical professorships to prepare third and fourth year medical students to be the next generation of physicians.
