The Department of Dermatology, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, is pleased to announce a clinical fellowship in Contact Dermatitis and Occupational Dermatology for the 2023-2024 academic year. The focus of this fellowship is to develop academic dermatologists who will become leaders in the field of contact dermatitis. They will develop expertise in deciding which allergen series to test, learn how to interpret patch test results based on each patient’s history and physical exam, and will gain experience designing avoidance strategies giving the greatest chance of curing patients of longstanding dermatitis. Fellows will have additional opportunities to rotate in Allergy/Immunology (2 weeks), Occupational Medicine clinic (1 week), our world-famous T cell research laboratories, Dermatopathology, Oral Medicine, genital dermatology, phototherapy and complex medical dermatology clinics. The fellow will have a full day of protected time weekly for the pursuit of a mentored academic project of their choice.

The applicant must be board-eligible or board certified in dermatology.  Salary will be commensurate with PGY level.

Interested applicants should send a letter describing their background and interest in the program, curriculum vitae and 2 letters of recommendation to: Ari Goldminz, M.D. and email to bwhderm@bwh.harvard.edu.
