Director of Infection Prevention and Control
The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with Elmhurst Hospital Center, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, has an exciting opportunity for a full time Infectious Diseases physician to fill the role of Director of Infection Prevention and Control on or about June of this year.
Responsibilities include Infection Control, inpatient and outpatient Infectious Disease consultation and HIV primary care. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
Candidates must have an MD degree and be board certified/board eligible in Infectious Disease with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. We also offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications.
