Job Summary:

Quivira Internal Medicine is seeking a hybrid internist to join their established, busy and well respected practice in Overland Park, Kansas.

Qualified Candidates:

• Unique hybrid model providing the variety of inpatient and outpatient medicine without sacrificing physician work life balance
• Must be comfortable providing inpatient coverage 1 in every 5 weeks, Monday through Friday; back up call on weekends with coverage provided by in house 3rd year residents
• Inpatient midlevel support each day you are in the hospital
• Four remaining weeks will be devoted to patient care in the outpatient clinic including a half day supervising 3rd year resident continuity clinic
• Resident and medical student teaching opportunities available
• Clinic features laboratory, aorta and bladder scanning, DEXA bone density, diabetic education, full x-rays, glucose testing, and pulmonary function testing
• Established physician governance structure
• Premier location--located in Johnson County with convenient highway access
• Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine
• Availability to start in 2023
