Prisma Health, the largest not for profit healthcare provider in South Carolina, seeks a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon with a background in Sports Medicine to join our growing team in the beautiful city of Sumter.

Join our team of three experienced orthopedic surgeons and one APP practicing at Prisma Health Orthopedics - Sumter. This busy, established practice is located on the campus of Tuomey Hospital making it easy to transition from the office to the hospital for surgical care and consults, where surgeries are performed. Healthcare providers serve patients throughout the county and neighboring areas.

The ideal candidate must perform well in a team environment, be eligible for a South Carolina License, hold a doctorate degree and be board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. Completion of a Sports Medicine fellowship desired. Candidate will contribute to and support organizational goals and initiatives to grow the practice.

Details:

• Busy established practice: 40-50 patients/day
• Join a team of 3 physicians and 1 advanced practitioner
• Paid Call - ratio 1:3 during week; 1:4 weekend
• Practice located on the hospital campus to make transition from office to hospital efficient
