A leader in pediatric care since 1875, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children's nationally recognized programs and pediatric specialists provide exceptional care to children from throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and around the world. The mission of St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is to provide quality pediatric services in a caring, progressive environment. The ED has a specialized behavioral health room, video interpretation services and social services coverage to assist patients and families with unique needs.

As a Level I Trauma Center and Verified Burn Center, the St. Chris ED provides care to more than 69,000 children and adolescents who come through the doors of the Emergency Department annually.
