The Steward Center for Neurosciences at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center seeks candidates for a Neurointensivist position. This individual will join our inpatient team and one board certified Neurointensivist in building a neurocritical care division. This service, in collaboration with neurosurgery, serves as the tertiary referral center for the Steward Hospitals in Massachusetts. We care for a complex array of patients with acute stroke, status epilepticus, coma after cardiac arrest, and intracerebral hemorrhage. We carry primary stroke center certification and are developing pathways to become a thrombectomy-ready site. This position comes with the opportunity to teach residents and medical students. A faculty appointment, academic support for research projects, and mentoring are provided.
