The Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) in Anchorage, Alaska seeks a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our growing team. As a Level II Trauma Center, the highest trauma designation in Alaska, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for the Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. Outpatient care, field clinics throughout the state and telemedicine complement the inpatient hospital practice. Our unique patient population, cohesive team and incredible geography, make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
Qualifications: Completion of an ACGME/AOA approved residency in Orthopedic Surgery and fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma; BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery; 2 years’ post-fellowship experience preferred; flexible team player with excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity.
Work Schedule: Sixteen 10 or 12-hour shifts per month; each week is a combination of outpatient clinic, O.R. or on-call.
